People in the U.S. vote to elect their choice of candidates for various offices. The highest executive office is the President of the U.S. Did you know that God already has appointed the King over His kingdom? Yet God still is giving you a chance to cast your vote for His King so that you may immediately become a registered citizen of God’s kingdom. The good news is that all citizens of God’s kingdom are guaranteed to be forever with God when they enter eternity.
The Bible says that God has made Jesus of Nazareth both Lord and Christ. As such, Jesus is the King of God’s kingdom and has all authority in heaven and on earth. If you vote no because you want a different king, then you will not enter the kingdom of God. Jesus said, “…the one who rejects me (Jesus Christ) rejects Him (God) who sent me.” That means that you will be rejecting God if you do not accept (by voting yes for) His appointed King.
If you choose to not vote at all, then the eternal consequences will be the same as voting no. Jesus said, “Whoever is not with me is against me…” The consequences following death will be banishment forever from God’s kingdom to hell’s pain and suffering.
You can vote yes at any time. To vote yes, you simply pray to God and 1) acknowledge Jesus Christ as His King; 2) totally surrender to Jesus Christ and accept Him as your own King; and 3) choose to obey Jesus Christ’s rule over your life beginning now. In return, Jesus Christ will accept complete responsibility for and care of you in this life and forever. This means that Jesus Christ Himself will stand before God and agree to be completely responsible for the payment for all sins that you have committed and will ever commit in the future. This immediately will satisfy all punishment deserved by your sins so that God’s justice will be satisfied. Also, this will obtain for you God’s total forgiveness. Jesus Christ will give you eternal life with God starting immediately after you vote yes. Jesus said, “I give them eternal life, and they will never perish…” You will then have complete access into God’s kingdom when you enter eternity.
If you now want to vote yes, first read and think about the meaning of the following prayer. Then pray and sincerely mean it.
Dear God, I want to vote yes for Jesus Christ to be my King. I’m sorry for all of my past deeds which were disrespectful and offensive to You. I now want to live with Your help as You want me to live. I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord, Savior and King. I acknowledge that You sent Your Son Jesus Christ into this world, and that He died for me in my place as my substitute so that my sins would be forgiven. I believe that after He was buried, He was raised from the dead and is now seated at Your right hand. I believe that the death of Jesus Christ alone makes me right with You. Thank You for accepting me as Your child because of what Jesus Christ did for me.
Dear Jesus Christ, I totally surrender and accept You as my Lord, Savior and King. Thank You for dying for me and paying for all of my sins. Please give me eternal life with God. I now want to live as You want me to live. Thank You for giving me the help to do so.
If you prayed the above prayer and sincerely meant it, then you are guaranteed to be forever with God in heaven. Jesus Christ paid for your sins and gave you eternal life with God. The Bible calls this being born from above (or being born again). You became a child of God and a citizen of God’s kingdom. Start with the New Testament and read first the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and the Acts of the Apostles. Read a little every day. Ask God to help you to understand it and He will. He wants you to understand the Bible because your life will be better when you live it as He planned it for you.
